The Morris and Nolan English Leather Elastic Standing Martingale Attachment

Used to help control a horse’s head carriage by preventing it from raising its head beyond a certain point.

• Morris and Nolan English Leather Elastic Standing Martingale attachment has an elastic insert and a steel buckle fastening.
• Stops a horse from throwing its head up to evade the bit, maintaining control.
• The elastic flexes, creating a less severe, more subtle aid.
• Great for horses with soft mouths or for teaching a consistent outline.
• Available in sizes;  Small Pony Size (SPS 14″), Pony Size (PS 16″), Cob Size (CS 17.5″), Full Size (FS 19″),  Extra Full Size (XFS 22″) and Extra Extra Full Size (XXFS).
• Available in colours;  Black or Havana.
• The attachment runs from the front of the horse’s chest to a regular Cavesson noseband, not a Drop, Flash, or Grackle noseband, as this can cause injury to the horse’s nose cartilage.

The English Leather Elastic Standing Martingale Attachment is used with a Hunting Breastplate.

Generally not recommended for jumping due to their restrictive nature if the horse needs full use of its head and neck in an emergency.  A Running Martingale is advisable in this instance.
