Flexi Mouth bits are made from quality stainless steel and is coated with flexible, toxic apple flavoured plastic, which can increase acceptance of the bit in some horses. By its very nature, the flexible mouth is more easily damaged than metal and it is therefore most important to ensure that the bit is of the correct size and that it lies centrally in the horses mouth.
