• The Martingale fastens from girth to bridle to help prevent a horse from raising its head high and evading contact with the rider.
• Buckle and eye fastenings
• Available in sizes;  Small Pony Size (SPS 14″), Pony Size (PS 16″), Cob Size (CS 17.5″), Full Size (FS 19″),  Extra Full Size (XFS 22″) and Extra Extra Full Size (XXFS).
• Available in colours;  Black or Havana.
• Rubber Martingale Stops are also used at the ‘junction’ between the neck and girth strap.

The martingale runs and fastens to a Cavesson noseband, not a Drop, Flash, or Grackle noseband, as this can cause injury to the horse’s nose cartilage.

Fitting a martingale:

• Loop the neck strap comfortably around the horse’s neck (about four fingers’ space).
• Thread the girth through the bottom loop.
• Fit the martingale loop onto the back of cavesson noseband and fasten.
• A properly fitted martingale only engages when the horse raises its head too high, providing gentle pressure, not constant restraint.
